After a long and grueling weekend at St. Charles High School, the Rams wrestling team competed in the district tournament where individuals would have to place in the top 4 to qualify for the state championships. Manar Fajors and Jake Mann both had fantastic tournaments, both going 4-0, both winning their respective weight classes, and both qualifying for the state tournament. The rams had 5 other wrestlers make it to the state qualifying round where Callen Morley and Patrick Kovalak prevailed. Morley wrestled the 3rd seeded wrestler and won 11-5. Kovalak wrestled the 6th seeded wrestler and won with a 3rd period pin. Each of these wrestlers finished in 4th place earning them a trip to the state championships. First round of state starts Thursday with the tournament going until Saturday night. Good luck wrestlers!!
