Dear LHWHS Parents and Students,
We are delighted to share news about the reopening of sports for our high school students! Through close coordination with local health officials, we have a plan in place that will allow us to move forward with practices and training beginning on July 6. However, this will require all of us to work together to keep each other safe and healthy.
Please read this letter and all of the information linked below carefully!
Ladue’s Resocialization of High School Athletics. This document outlines the phases we will use to begin practices and training this summer, the screening processes we will put in place, how to enter/exit practice facilities, dates/times for practice by sport, and how to get more information.
Ladue Waiver for Parents on Behalf of Students. This waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian of every athlete participating in the training/practice programs outlined in Ladue’s Resocialization of High School Athletics (linked above) to ensure you understand the inherent risks of participating in practices and training this summer. This waiver must be returned to the Activities Office, Coach Dillon or your head coach before students will be able to participate.
Mercy Return to Sports Recommendations. We have included this extensive document to assure you that the procedures and requirements we will be following are based on the recommendations of medical professionals in our area.
Please direct any questions or concerns you have to the coaches of the sport in which you/your child participate(s). Their contact information can be found in the first document linked above.
Finally, please note… Registration for Strength and Conditioning Group #6 and Group #7 will open this Monday, 6/22 at 8 a.m through My Conference Time.
Thank you for your patience as we awaited this guidance. I can’t tell you how excited we all are to see our students again and to get the 2020-21 sports seasons underway.
Take care, be well and GO RAMS!
