Ladue Horton Watkins High School

On Saturday at the Class 5 Districts in Cape Girardeau, Ladue XC put together an incredible morning of races! On the Boys' side, Joe Krussel qualified for State with the second fastest run of his career at 16:36.30. For the Girls' team, Taylor Gase, Addie Salvatori, and Maddy Gaffigan all qualified for State with new personal bests of 19:27.70, 19:45.00, and 19:47.70. All 4 athletes secured a spot within the top 15 all time Ladue XC athletes with their performance. In team standings, the Girls' XC squad put together its fastest team average time since 2013, and qualified the most girls we've had at State for 13 years. The Boys' team gained some valuable postseason experience, ending in a number of impressive PR's that set us up for future success. The future looks bright for our Ladue Distance program!
