JV Boys Have a Great Showing at Webster Groves Quad

Ladue brought 10 JV wrestlers to Webster Groves to get matches against them, Rockwood Summit and McCluer High.  All 10 wrestlers did just that.  Howard Jackson led the team through the 3 meets getting a win in each! David Ciorba, Kyle Cox each wrestled twice getting 2 wins.  Will Haybron, Henry Gallemore, and Ken Boaten

All State Band & Orchestra Selected

Please join me in congratulating the following students that were selected as members of the All-State Band and All-State Orchestra. These students won a blind audition as they competed against students from across the state. These students will represent LHWHS at performances at the MMEA convention at Tan-Tar-A, January 25, 2020.   22 students were recognized for their outstanding musicianship!   All-State Band Katie Eisenman    23rd chair     Clarinet Daphne Levy

Rams Wrestlers Finish in 2nd Place at John Burroughs Tournament

The rams came into the John Burroughs tournament will goals of bringing home not just individual hardware but team hardware as well.  They did just that finishing in 2nd place just 15 points short of the title.  The wrestlers competed hard and 12 wrestlers came home with individual medals.  Champions were Scarlette Maier in the


The LHWHS Blue chess team defeated CBC’s Purple team 30-0 in their Gateway Chess High School League match on December 4th. Erik Tkachenko (11), Iris Zhou (10), Ben Liu (10), Jason Pummer (12), and Katie Eisenman (11) contributed to the win. Time to recognize the MOD Pizza November Athletes of the month… Girls: Lauren Spangler – Volleyball – Rockford Lutheran High School Currently leading her volleyball team to a super sectional volleyball match. This was the schools first sectional championship in school history. Lauren had 18 kills in the sectional finals.  Currently has 371 kills, 48
