Track and Field District Meet Information 5/15

2021 Class 5 District 2 Varsity Boys & Girls Track and Field Championships  May 15th  @ Francis Howell Central High School Gate Fee: $5 dollar entry fee per MSHSAA guidelines – Cash only on Saturday. spectators allowed, but masks ARE expected to be worn on all Francis Howell School District events and campuses, even outside.  

Fischer Sets Record! 12′-3″!

Congratulations to Samantha Fischer for setting the Ladue High School record for Pole Vault!  The previous record holder was Michelle Lange, who jumped 12′-0″ in 2008 en route to winning a state title.  Sam had a solid night jumping, clearing 10′-0″, 10′-6″, 11′-3″, and then 12′-1″ to break the old record.  After a quick celebration

Varsity Track Updates

Varsity Track and Field improved on their earlier success when they competed at the Kirkwood Dale Collier Invitational on Saturday. On the girl’s side, junior Kayliah Motes was second in the 400 meter Dash in 59:35  and junior Virginia Schulte won the 800 meter run in a fast 2:20, positioning them both well for the upcoming post season

Ladue’s Fast Times Among the Best in the State

Coming off of a string of successful meets, the Ladue Track and Field continued their success at the Lafayette Invitational last Saturday. Strong finishes from the runners, throwers and jumpers gave them 5th place team finishes on both the girls and boys side. In the throws, the girls took center stage, with Scarlette Maier finishing 2nd
