Students are accepted into the orgranization in the fall of their sophomore year and participate in FOCUS St. Louis Youth Leadership Program throughout their entire junior year. Students learn leadership skills, how to facilitate a conversation and how to interact and lead a diverse group of people. There are field trips incorporated into the year that allow students to tour and learn about different aspects of leadership in St. Louis.
